Last week, Sherbert, the Metrognome, visited Kids 1st Gosforth. After having raised the most money for Amélie Holden, to help buy an Ipad Pro to help with her communication development, the nursery won a visit from Sherbert, the Metrognome earlier in the week. But that wasn't all that happened at our nurseries last week. Kids 1st Low Fell had their parent play days, which was a lot of fun too! All parents got to join the children in what was a very healthy competition. The little ones did an amazing job throughout all the games, but the parents also made it a mission to perform brilliantly in front of their children. The competition was fierce, but the parents pulled through with incredible performances! Read all about our adventures on this blog post.

It's a bitter-sweet feeling that runs through our veins. Saying goodbye to so many beautiful faces with incredible personalities and qualities is never easy. Preparing children for the future ahead of them is what we pride ourselves on, but saying goodbye is always hard. Kids 1st Wansbeck's preschoolers celebrated their graduation last Wednesday, 11th July. They were so excited to perform their songs and speeches that took months of preparation in front of their families. We don't want to say goodbye, but at the same time we're so excited to see what the future holds for every single one of these children. This must-read blog post documents every single second of this very special day at nursery. Congratulations, Dolphins!

Yesterday, Kids 1st Nurseries attended the Mothercare Expectant Parent event in Gateshead, and our beautiful mascot, Bobby, couldn't miss the opportunity to say hello to all the children and their parents. He also handed out brochures and pens to the adults, and balloons and sweeties to the little ones! An incredibly fun event and evening that we documented through the camera lens. We cannot wait to do this again. Read more on this blog post.

Last week, Kids 1st Rake Lane has celebrated a full day dedicated to the children and their parents. With a parents play day event taking place at nursery, lots of parents joined their little ones for an afternoon of fun games, reading stories, playing outside in the sun, and so much more! All children were over the moon with excitement. They couldn't wait for their parents to arrive. Then, it was time to have the parents read their little ones some stories, run around the gardens playing games and getting involved in all sorts of fun activities. We documented the very special bond between the parents and their children through the camera lens. Read all about it on this blog post!

We visited Kids 1st Durham once more and joined the children on their outdoor activities. As usual, all the staff was super friendly and patient, caring for the children in a professional manner, giving them the opportunity to learn as they play. The staff's exceptional knowledge and understanding about how children learn and develop, helps them to plan stimulating and exciting activities that motivate children to learn and consequently make consistently excellent progress in their development.
