Kids 1st Nurseries go to Mothercare Expectant Parents Event

What an incredible end of the week we've had. On Thursday, 14th June Kids 1st Nurseries attended the Expectant Parent Event that took place at Mothercare in Gateshead. Among others, we were joined by Puddle Ducks for an incredible evening and event. We couldn't miss out on the opportunity to bring our mascot, Bobby, along to interact with all the parents and children.

Once we finished decorating out little set up with balloons, sweeties to give away, lots of brochures, leaflets and pens, we were ready to go!

Bobby was very excited to be there, and he didn't waste any time before starting to interact with the customers, and particularly all the children. Bobby did a fantastic job giving out balloons, pens and brochures, but he had a hard time letting go of his teddy bear at first. However, eventually he let go of his teddy bear and let the children play with him.

The children were very excited and happy to see Bobby at the store. He was very friendly to everyone, and he even went outside to the very front of the store, where we called people in to join the party! 

Moms, dads, toddlers and even the Mothercare staff, everyone enjoyed the presence of our fabulous Bobby, as he kept each person super entertained. After calling people into the store, it was time to guide them to our amazing Kids 1st stand, where sweeties, balloons, pens, and brochures awaited.

We chatted with the parents and told them all about our 13 different nurseries in the North East. We also mentioned that our enrolment week is coming up. It will be next week, between the 18th and the 22nd of Jun, and  you can get one week's worth of free childcare if you sign up at our nurseries. It doesn't get better than free childcare, right? 

The fun continued as the evening went on, and soon it was time to have a chat with out friends at Puddle Ducks. Did you know that if you attend Kids 1st Nurseries and you sign up for swimming lessons at Puddle Ducks, you can get a 10% discount...?

Bobby approved this deal! After we took some photos with out friends at Puddle Ducks, Bobby decided to float around giving leaflets and sweets to every customer who walked through the doors.

...And he even gave some autographs! 

Before the day was over, Bobby said goodbye to everyone, as he handed out a few final balloons. The children were over the moon with so many presents!

Bobby tried to hide when it was time to go, as he really did not want to leave. But as all good things come to an end, eventually it was time to go home. It was an amazing evening for Kids 1st Nurseries, and we can't wait to do it all over again. Next week, we'll be going to Killingworth's Shopping Centre. Will you join us? See you there!
