Last Wednesday, 6th December, the children at Kids 1st Gosforth headed over to the theatre to watch the play 'Me...', a Little Angel Theatre Production about a little Penguin. A fun morning for the children! The story is based on a book by Emma Dodd, published by The Templar Company Limited and directed by Samantha Lane.

To get to the theatre, the children took the train and they were all beyond happy! On this blog post, we will share with you the pictures we took of some very happy and excited children.

Firstly, and since it was pretty cold outside, we made sure everyone was nice and warm before we headed out. As soon as all the coats, scarves and gloves were in place, we were ready to walk to the train station.

Walking to the station was so much fun.

Once we arrived at the train station, we bought our tickets and stood on the platform, waiting for our train!

The train approaches the platform, and these precious faces light up with excitement! It was almost time to watch the super cute little Penguin!

The story revolved around the fact that the world is a very big place, especially for a tiny baby penguin who is just finding his feet. The shimmering stars and glistening snow spin around our little hero, while the mountains tower high and the wind rushes to and fro. And although baby penguin may be small his family know he’s the biggest thing of all. It is a lovely and touching story about a parent and their love for their child by popular children’s author Emma Dodd.
