Kids 1st Bowesfield nursery visit in pictures!

Visiting Kids 1st Bowesfield last Monday, 29th January was a very pleasant experience. We've had so much fun spending time with so many talented, happy and creative children. 

Nothing can replace the role human interaction plays in a child’s growth and development, especially when it comes to acquiring language and developing communication skills. Whether it's playing outdoors, drawing, painting, learning about nature or even reading books, all the activities that take place in our nurseries have been designed not only for your children to enjoy, but for them to develop their communication and cognitive skills. For example,  children develop attention skills, short-term memory, and long-term memory from the ages of 2-5, whereas those with ages 5 through 7 develop better control over attention, memory, and problem-solving skills, as well as they are able to use their cognitive abilities to attain goals or solve problems. Logic & reasoning also develops further as children are able to make connections between ideas. Kids 1st Nurseries understand the different stages of a child's development, and this is why all the activities that take place in our nurseries have been designed not only for your children to enjoy, but for them to grow and be successful in life. Our first room of the day was the baby's room, our Starfish room. We were delighted with all the activities that were taking place. But the event of the day was definitely being able to witness a little one's first steps! How exciting!! The room was full of fun toys: there was a ball pool, a sensory play sandbox, there were books and also art on the walls. There was a vibrant feel to the room that brought an inexplicable comfort to the babies.

Playing in the sand is always a hit with the children. These two babies loved exploring their sense of touch with this sensory play sandbox. They particularly enjoyed watching the sand fall from the nursery nurse's hand back to the box. And, of course, they had tools to play with in the sand.

Walking was so much more fun with this musical toy...!

And what about this little one's determination in finishing that book?

We've had a great time in our Starfish room, but after a while we became very curious and wondering what  Puffins, Dolphins and Seahorses were up to. It was time to pop in to check it out.

In some rooms, there were some artistic activities going on. For example, we loved to see this child's devotion to that work of art...

Some children were having a secret tea party, but they let us take some pictures anyway.

Play dough was also happening at Kids 1st Bowesfield. And do we even need to comment on that gorgeous smile? 

But what about outside? If you're wondering whether or not there was some fun also going on outside on the playground, we can assure you there was! And we're about to prove it.

Riding bicycles, running around the playground, playing with giant Lego, balancing on a beam, there was sure enough to entertain these little ones for hours and hours...

This little Newcastle Falcons fan was so excited running around the playground, making sure he asked us to watch his speed so we could let him know how fast he was going. We obviously couldn't time it, because he was too fast for our watches...

Clearly also having a great time was this little one. And check out that cool beanie!

Before the children went back inside, we took one final picture...

As we went back inside, we checked other rooms to see what the children were up to. In our next room, the children were playing with sand, learning about different fruits and vegetables, playing with cars and much more!

All of these fun planned activities and organised schedules wouldn't be possible without the help of our qualified staff. You know that saying that goes time flies when you're having fun? That's exactly what happened at Kids 1st Bowesfield. All of the sudden, it was already lunch time. Whaaaat? So, we headed over to the lunch area and watched the children finish everything on their plates with great appetite! 

Every child grabbed a knife and fork and sat down waiting for a delicious and nutritious meal to arrive. 

With just a little bit of help, they even poured their own water into the glasses!

It was time to eat, and these children wasted no time. They cleaned up those plates in no time. And the food smelled so delicious we were jealous...! 

The day was going great, but we couldn't leave just yet. We needed even more photos of the nursery and of all the kids. In one of the rooms, the children were painting with their hands, and we just had to document this fun activity on camera.

Other children were learning about laundry: the nursery even had a pretend washing machine and so many products, plus an ironing board where the children could play.

Some children were doing puzzles, being read stories or playing with cars. They even had some outfits they could wear. 

As this fun day came to an end, it was time to go. We don't even know where to begin to describe this perfect day. Kids 1st Bowesfield is a great nursery. From the extensive amount of activity options for your children all the way to the exquisite attention to detail, dedication from the staff and the highest quality facilities, this nursery has everything that's necessary to provide excellent childcare.

We left the nursery with a smile on our faces. We couldn't help but share with you the remaining photos we took of this incredible day spent at Kids 1st Bowesfield, because we know these photos will really melt your hearts. We hope you enjoy them just as much as we do.
